Like a Skipping Stone...

I want to visit April a bit, skipping along to future times:

Maybe she doesn't have an easily described career path. I see her as working with animals, but not getting to vet school, and maybe not getting a fulltime job right away. So she could do stuff like work some shifts as a barista at a place with music nights (bringing her guitar along to participate too, of course!).

Back to School

(or nearly so), so it's time to start wrapping some things up:

much like with the snow, digging out...

So I wasn't quite as slapdash with this one. But still just a quick one (with quickie brush-pen job) to round out the week with April at school.

I have heard that vet school is harder to get into than med school. I don't know - but it's definitely not easy. When the whole "Guelph announces it accepts April" item happened at the end of FOOB, I took a gander at the vet school's site. You need a sequence of 8 courses from a list, and a statistics course which requires a calculus prerequisite. Typical grades of accepted students are 85% in the required courses.

April was not shown to be breezing through high school, so she's not going to find this easy.
