Liz looks like Janice from the Muppets in the second "panel". But I really like the expressions on Paul and Melanie in the last "panel". I'm trying to shade in Paul's hair, even if I don't make it fully black. And Melanie also has to have dark brown/ black hair. If she's a cousin hanging around northern Ontario, odds are she's on his mother's side of the family.
I wanted to have them discuss some incident in Liz' teaching and be relieved to find out they didn't have to end with a philosophical bad pun. Unfortunately, no matter how much I like meta, I couldn't write it well. So they're just out having a drink.
